Warranty is a legally binding agreement that ensures that damaged or faulty parts are replaced or fixed. Warranties do not, however, cover accidents or regular servicing. Different car companies have different warranty agreements that must be looked into before buying a car to ensure full satisfaction with services without feeling shortchanged in case of any damage done to the car.
Different Terms of Warranty
Hyundai has a 5 Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty which sets it apart, Honda, on the other hand, gives a warranty of 2 whole years. Tata Motors has a more comprehensive way of giving warranty for its cars, with warranties between 2 years and 4 years. Most companies also have Extended Warranty, Like Toyota that gives an extended warranty of 5 years.
Maruti Suzuki’s Warranty Agreement
Maruti Suzuki gives a primary warranty of 24 months or 40,000 kms. They also have an Extended Warranty scheme called ‘Forever Yours’, however it only covers 3yr/60000 kms or 4yr/80000 kms (there is a choice between the two).
Certified Dzire Warranty
Certified used Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire warranty in Bangalore will depend from seller to seller. However, the usual trend is of a warranty of 1 year, though it can be less than that as well. These variations are on the basis of price difference. Sellers may give different prices to avail this warranty and on that basis the warranty covers different things like the engine, axle, gearbox or even the air conditioning.
By giving the used cars the tag of being ‘certified’ and by giving these schemes of warranty, sellers manage to ensure that the customer is completely content with the service. This means that the seller has managed to give the company or dealership an assured customer that is necessary for buyer-seller relations. So while the seller is pleased with the profit/ sale made, the buyer is happy with not just the service but also with their new car that they can drive without worrying about damages.
